In 2014 from the regional budget on development of the Yamal dairy farming has also been allocated about 60 million rubles.
“In 2015, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district for the first time the Federal budget has allocated subsidies in the framework of the state target subprogram “Development of production of milk and dairy products”. In 2016 it is planned to increase this support to 349 thousand rubles”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
He added that the number of cattle in the region is more than one thousand heads, which are concentrated in 13 farms of different ownership forms. Total milk production in farms of all categories for the year is around 2.1 thousand tons. This is 2.5% of the population needs of the region.
As reported earlier, the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district Dmitry Kobylkin, in four settlements of the region it is planned to build new livestock farms, construction of one already underway. This will increase milk production up to 3 thousand tons per year.
“Agriculture of Yamal, we will fully support and develop. We do it for the employment of citizens, creating internal food “safety cushion” in the area”, — said the head of the region.
