The seat of the head of the state Duma Committee for health protection will become vacant after the departure of the Federation Council Sergey Kalashnikov. His place may be taken by another member of the Committee – the Deputy of the state Duma from LDPR Sergey Furgal.
MOSCOW, 13 Oct. The Deputy from LDPR Sergey Furgal can become the Chairman of the Duma Committee on health protection, succeeding in passing the Federation Council Sergey Kalashnikov, this nomination is a priority, said Vice-speaker of the state Duma from LDPR Igor Lebedev.
The issue will be finally resolved on Wednesday, the MP said. “Candidates are considered. Just Furgal is a member of the Committee. Of course, it is a priority. But decision yet”, — said Lebedev.
The state Duma meeting on Tuesday terminated the mandate of five members of the lower house of Parliament in connection with their transfer to the Federation Council.
Deputies left empowered Senator from the Smolensk region Frants Klintsevich, head of the Committee on health Sergei Kalashnikov (LDPR), appointed a Senator from the Bryansk region. MP from the Communist party Sergei Levchenko resigned in connection with election on a post of the Governor of the Irkutsk region. Also the lower house of Parliament left Nikolay Bulaev (EP) and Elena Mizulina (CF).
