MOSCOW, October 13. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin will take part in the VII Investment forum “Russia calling!”, organized by “VTB Capital”.
“This is a traditional annual forum which brings together investors, portfolio investors, partners, VTB, foreign companies that have long been present in our market. The President will communicate with them”, – said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.
In his words, “the traditional framework of speech (Putin) is not to be a dialogue between the participants of the forum”. “The President will answer freely to the questions of investors”, – said the representative of the Kremlin.
Before the summit Putin met with the head of VTB Andrey Kostin, who is the organizer of this event.
VII annual investment forum VTB Capital “Russia calling!” held in Moscow on 13-14 October, and it was first held in 2009.
At the meetings participants discuss the development priorities of the Russian economy, stimulating regional growth and the main trends in the markets of debt and equity capital, along with other issues in the field of investment and business.
The plenary session traditionally opens opening remarks by President of the Russian Federation. The event program also includes a number of panel sessions with the participation of representatives of the Russian government, heads of major international corporations and leading domestic companies.
