A large number of airline employees in the event of bankruptcy will be able to go to work in Sberbank, said the Minister of transport at the meeting with the President of Russia. Part of the employees will be able to get into the group of companies “Aeroflot” and specially open vacancies at airports.
MOSCOW, 13 Oct. Sberbank has said it is ready to employ many of the officers of “Transaero” in the event of bankruptcy of the airline, said the transport Minister Maxim Sokolov.
“More than six thousand people can go to the group of companies “Aeroflot” to further their work. A large number of employed workers in case of bankruptcy of the company can go to the savings Bank. And Sberbank has said that it is ready to accept staff of the company Transaero”, — said Sokolov at the meeting with the President of Russia.
Also, according to him, active work with airports that have already opened more than 600 jobs, including in the new airport Ramenskoye, which will open next year.
“Issues related to employment of employees of the company “Transaero”, are under special control and will be resolved with minimal costs,” he added.
The largest Russian privately owned airline Transaero has been unable to service debts, which form together with the leasing obligations of about 250 billion rubles. Approved in September the government plan for the transfer of 75% of actions “Transaero” state “Aeroflot” for the subsequent rehabilitation took off. The creditors are considering the option of bankruptcy of the airline.
