The Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine aivaras abromavicius has previously predicted that large-scale privatization in Ukraine should be expected in 2016.
KYIV, 15 Oct. Ukraine will not allow Russian investors in the privatization of state assets, said the Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine aivaras Abromavicius.
“We will not allow Russian investors in the privatization of our public facilities. As for me, I would have banned and Ukrainian large business participation in privatization. They are already privatized. Look, what are the consequences of the privatization of our key facilities of the Ukrainian oligarchs”, — said the Minister in an interview to Ukrainian “5th channel” on Thursday evening.
Abromavicius previously predicted that this year a large-scale privatization of state enterprises will not be carried out. According to the Minister, privatisation is likely to be expected in the next year.
