The Russian presidential aide Andrei Belousov noted that the compensation mechanism “Aeroflot” the cost of transportation of passengers “Transaero” will be determined in the near future.
MOSCOW, 15 Oct. “Aeroflot” has already spent more than 17 billion rubles for the transportation of passengers experiencing financial difficulties faced by the airline “Transaero”; the state compensates Aeroflot for these costs, maybe not in money but with routes, said the Russian presidential aide Andrei Belousov.
Thus, according to him, the compensation mechanism “Aeroflot” the cost of transportation of passengers “Transaero” will be determined in the near future.
“‘ll take the calculations, it is not necessarily money. It, including, possibly through routes. But “Aeroflot” has already spent more than 17 billion rubles, carrying passengers “Transaero”. Therefore, it is clear that some compensation should be, but the mechanisms of this compensation, the amounts they are now being discussed”, — said Belousov to journalists, answering a question about what state support can be rendered “Aeroflot” in connection with the situation with “Transaero”.
“I think it will be soon all done”, — said the assistant to the President, answering clarifying question, when can be determined with the aid “to Aeroflot”.
According to Belousov, there is a problem that already drew the attention of President Vladimir Putin, about the need to stop selling tickets of “Transaero”. “Literally the day before yesterday they sold tickets, they sold the vouchers, that is, the right to acquire (ticket — ed.). So… now finally all the results will be reviewed, resolved all (questions — ed.)”, — said Belousov.
