Greece next week will receive 800 million euros from the EU budget

In the European Commission report that payment in the amount of 800 million euros from the EU budget directed to support the reform programme in Greece.

BRUSSELS, 15 Oct. Maria Knyazeva. Greece next week will receive 800 million euros from the EU budget in the framework of the plan for jobs and growth 2014-2020 a total volume of 35 billion euros, said the EC.

“In General, for the 2015 year will be given to almost 1.4 billion euros and one billion euros in 2016. In addition, these exceptional measures will enable Greece to spend about two billion euros less money in their national budget”, — stated in the message.

According to the report, a plan for jobs and growth is suitable, including, for the support of the reform programme which was agreed by the country with the EC and international partners in the framework of the third financial support program.

In August, Greece has been approved a third programme loans amounting to 86 billion euros in exchange for the adjustment of the economy, including through reforms. Allocates funds until the European stability mechanism (ESM), the EU is expecting that lending will involve IMF.
