MOSCOW, 15 Oct. The Board of Directors of Russian Railways on Thursday cancelled the powers of the three Vice-presidents, reports the website of the newspaper “Vedomosti” with reference to near-monopoly sources.
In particular, terminated the powers of the first Vice President Vadim Morozov (he was responsible for the overall management and coordination of production and economic activity of the company), Vice President of health care and work with public organizations Oleg Atkova and Vice-President for corporate management and strategic development Valery Reshetnikov. About this decision of Railways will be announced on Friday, said the sources.
Morozov, who is a member of Board of Russian Railways since 2005 and was once the Minister of Railways, will not leave the company, and will become an adviser to the President of the Russian Railways. The Board may also enter chief accountant Galina Kraft.
