The decision to participate in tenders for privatization of state property in Greece – Greek Railways TrainOSE, servicing company rolling stock ROSCO and sea port of Thessaloniki is examined, said a spokesman for Russian Railways Grigory Levchenko.
MOSCOW, 15 Oct. RZD did not refuse participation in privatisation of Greek assets and still considering it, said company spokesman Grigory Levchenko.
Earlier, a source reported that the Russian railway do not intend to participate in tenders for privatization of state property in Greece — Greek Railways TrainOSE, servicing company rolling stock ROSCO and the sea port in Thessaloniki. According to him, the final decision should accept the government of the Russian Federation.
In the Railways denied this information, noting that decisions on this issue were not accepted.
“The issue continues to be studied,” — said Levchenko.
The second stage of the tender for TrainOSE is planned to be held in early December, and the port of Thessaloniki in February 2016.
