TAMBOV, 15 Oct. The Commission for coordination of work on prevention of corruption, headed by the Governor Alexander Nikitin created in the Tambov region, said the representative of the press service of the regional administration.
The Commission was created to ensure a unified state policy in the sphere of combating corruption, as well as pursuant to the decree of the RF President “On measures on improvement of organization of activities in the field of corruption counteraction”.
“The Commission includes the heads of Executive authorities of region, territorial bodies of Federal agencies, the office of the Plenipotentiary of RF President in the Central Federal district, the Public chamber of the region, scientific and educational institutions, and public organizations, the statutory objectives of which is participation in combating corruption”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
The Commission is a permanent coordinating body with the head of administration of the Tambov region. She will ensure execution of decisions of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation for countering corruption, to prepare proposals to the head of region in this sphere and to coordinate the activities of the regional administration, the Executive authorities and local self-government, and to ensure concerted actions of these bodies with territorial bodies of Federal public authorities. Also in the list of the Commission’s tasks included the interaction with civil society and the media, said the press service.
