A Declaration of insolvency, the factory was sent to the Arbitration court of Dagestan Republic on August 3. In early September the court entered the first procedure of bankruptcy — supervision.
“We as a Bank are interested in the future preservation of the plant, and the only question in the restructuring of a large foreign currency debt, which to date has accumulated due to the devaluation. We are in the negotiation process and on the results of a two-day visit define what are the parameters of the restructuring, which is inevitable in our loan,” — said the Agency interlocutor. Plant for the production of flat float glass with a design capacity of 600 tons per day was launched in December 2013. The company started the project in 2011 in the village tube Kumtorkalinsky district of Dagestan, where under construction was allocated a plot of 50 hectares. The total project cost is approximately 10.5 billion rubles, of which equity — 30% debt (VEB) — 70%.
The representative of “Caspian float glass plant” was then intended that the building will pay for itself in about seven years. Priority markets it was called the North Caucasian Federal district, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Western Ukraine and Iran.
