MOSCOW, October 16. All Russian planes operating in Syria, returned to the base, drones are operating as planned, said the official representative of the defense Ministry major General Igor Konashenkov.
Earlier the Turkish General staff said that Turkish air force had shot down an unidentified drone that violated the country’s airspace.
“All the aircraft of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic, after performing combat tasks returned to the airbase “Hamim”. Russian unmanned aerial vehicles monitoring the situation in Syria and leading aerial reconnaissance, and operate in a planned mode”, – said Konashenkov.
