MOSCOW, October 16. U.S. refusal to accept the delegation of the Russian Federation headed by the Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev is “nonsense and rudeness” against “threat to all humanity”. This opinion on October 16 in an interview with radio station “Kommersant FM” was expressed by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev

Kosachev is sure that when there is “a common threat to all humanity” the United States should not say “no, we will not sit (at the table) because we disagree with you”.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin said about the readiness to send to Washington “to discuss primarily the issues of the Syrian settlement” the delegation headed by the Prime Minister. The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on 14 October reported that the U.S. has officially refused to accept the Russian delegation.
