Start-up complex of the third phase of the bypass of the city of Saransk will in the near future to combine Federal and regional highways into a single transportation network and will unload city centre.
NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 16 Oct –. Entered on Friday into operation starting complex of the third phase of the bypass of the city of Saransk with a length of 8.4 km will allow to release the center of the capital of Mordovia on heavy vehicles, according to the regional government.
The complex includes a roundabout on the highway Saransk – Berezniki Large, the bridge over the river. Tavla; the overpass across the street Garden, multi-level traffic interchange type “Cloverleaf” with an overpass over the highway Saransk – Kochkurovo.
“We become even closer to the start of the highway “Bypass Saransk”, which will bring together regional and Federal highways into a single transportation network. Its length will be 17 km, and the total cost is over 6 billion. With the commissioning of this complex heavy transport will go around the centre of our capital city from the South-East, which will significantly reduce the load on urban roads”, — said the head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov at the opening ceremony of the complex.
According to him, from the Federal budget on the country roads in the past and this year allocated more than 3 billion rubles.
The most important element of the road has become a multi-level interchange “Cloverleaf”. It was there in 2018, when the Saransk will host the world Cup, from the airport and South pass city in the principal amount of fans and guests of the tournament.
