MOSCOW, 17 Oct. The participants of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU) is not going to recreate the USSR, said the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.

“Yeah, we’re not going to recreate the Soviet Union, but we must be still together. We should at least be in a single Economic Union,” said Atambayev in an interview in the program “Vesti on Saturday” with Sergei Brilev.

He added that “by and large, if you take the history of the Kirgiz in General, our homeland is Russia: Yenisei and Altai”.

The EEU is an international integration economic Union created on the basis of the Customs Union and the common economic space and functioning from January 1 of the current year. Now members of the EEU are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
