According to the head of the Ministry, it is necessary to balance the financial model Railways. The Minister recalled that the tariffs of RZD was calculated by the Federal tariff service.
MOSCOW, 19 Oct. Subsidies or the reduction of the rate for railway transportation of fish will require it to align it with other shipments for balancing the financial model of Russian Railways, said the Minister of transport of RF Maxim Sokolov at the meeting of the Presidium of the state Council.
Earlier head FAS Igor Artemyev at the same meeting, offered to subsidize railway tariff for transportation of fish in the peak seasons to reduce the price of other products, including meat. Sokolov reminded that RZD tariffs calculated by the Federal tariff service.
“Even if we somehow let this rate to reduce or subsidise, respectively, it will be necessary to align fares on other modes of transport, balancing the financial model of activity Russian Railways”, — said Sokolov.
