UN, 20 October. /Corr. Oleg Zelenin/. Russia is demanding to put an end to the arrogance of the USA to the UN, abusing the situation of the country hosting the world organization. This was stated by the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vitaly Churkin, speaking in the Security Council.

As an example of inappropriate conduct Washington diplomat cited the situation with representatives of the self-proclaimed Kosovo is not a member of the UN, the US organized the event on countering extremism on 29 September, “despite the protests of the management of the Secretariat and some delegations.” The United States, said Churkin, repairing the “visa barriers” arrival in new York of representatives of other “new independent States”, including Abkhazia and South Ossetia, without which it is impossible to consider a General Assembly resolution on refugees, annually made by Georgia.
