SIMFEROPOL, 19 Oct. The supply of cities and settlements of the Crimea is carried out as planned, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Dmitry Polonsky.

Earlier on Ukraine’s border with Crimea in Kherson region unknown persons blew up two pylons, supplying electricity to the Peninsula. Now on a scene experts work. According to the State service for emergency situations, the supply of electricity in the Crimea is not terminated. Criminal case is brought. This is the second such incident in the last month.

“At the moment issues with power supply no, the process goes in a planned mode”, — said Polonsky.

In his opinion, the undermining of the towers except as a blatant act of vandalism and aggression will not name.

“There (in Ukraine — ed.) is absolutely uncontrollable chaos. We see that bands can afford anything, not working law enforcement system, no power structures, no army — free box, everyone who wants, and makes, country living by the principle: “who has the machine that’s right”, said Deputy Prime Minister.

Crimea is 70% dependent on power supplies from Ukraine. According to the estimates of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation, the region needed an additional approximately 880 MW of capacity. By the end of this year the first phase of power bridge to Crimea must be commissioned, which will give to the Crimea from the mainland to 400 MW on a daily basis. The second phase will increase the power flow to 800-840 MW — the construction will finish in summer 2016.
