Russia in September came in first place for oil supplies to China


According to customs Bureau of China, Russia in September put of 4.04 million tons of crude oil, 42% more than the same month last year. Earlier it was reported that in the first half of 2015, China imported from Russia 20 million tons of oil.

MOSCOW, 21 Oct. Russia overtook Saudi Arabia and came in first place in terms of oil supplies to China by the end of September, according to data from the General administration of customs of the PRC available to the Agency Bloomberg.

Russia in September put of 4.04 million tons of crude oil, 42% more than the same month of 2014 and by 31% in comparison with August.

Export of Saudi Arabia, which ranked second in last month amounted to 3,95 million tons of oil. The figure decreased by 17% in annual terms and increased by 1.1% in month.

The third place on volume of deliveries took Oman, exported or 3.17 million tons of oil in the reporting month. The index jumped by 18% in annual terms and grew by 23% in a month. The value in 1,71 million tons enabled Iran to be on the fourth place in terms of oil supplies. The figure decreased by 17% in annual terms and decreased by 20% in a month.

Previously the Director of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia mincomercio China Lin JI told reporters that in the first half of 2015, China imported from Russia 20 million tons of oil — 27% more than in the same period last year.
