MOSCOW, October 21. The Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation welcome the request of the Ukrainian airlines to allow flights in the winter season and ready for consultation. This was stated by Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov on the TV channel “Russia 24”.
“We welcome any steps in the right direction, if we are talking about providing transportation. It all depends on the position of the Ukrainian aviation authorities”, – said Sokolov. According to him, the main thing that had saved the current share of Russia and Ukraine in the total volume of air traffic between the two countries. “If this ratio continues, we are always ready to take a step forward”, he added.
On the eve of the Ukrainian airlines has applied for permission for the flights during the winter navigation season 2015 – 2016 In particular, the airline “Atlasjet Ukraine” asks permission to perform flights on three routes: Kiev – Moscow, Odessa – Moscow and Kiev – St. Petersburg, “UTair-Ukraine” – Kiev – Moscow and Lviv – Moscow.
In turn, the Federal air transport Agency has suggested the state aviation service of Ukraine to immediately hold talks in the Ukrainian side.
Earlier, the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine reported that the country from 25 October stops flights from the UK, a ban on all fall flights of the Russian airline. The Federal air transport Agency in response has advised Ukrainian companies on the introduction from October 25, of the ban on flights in Russia.
