MOSCOW, October 22. Kazan IT-Technopark is considering an IPO after 2020 in an interview with the framework of the forum Russian Interactive Week (RIW) 2015 said the Director of GAU “Technopark in sphere of high technologies “it-Park” Anton Grachev.
“In 2014, we had approximately 12% ROI. That is, we as a profitable business, following our goal is the corporatization. We want to go down this path,” he said.
Such a goal is worth in 2021, said Grachev, adding that there are no precedents when IT parks listed.
The Technopark has now two sites – Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny. According to him, both are owned by the Republic of Tatarstan, as GAU “Technopark in sphere of high technologies “it-Park” performs the function of the management company. While GAU was founded by the Ministry of Informatization and communications of the Republic of Tatarstan. When creating a technology Park in 2009 before the management company set specific targets, which a year later were implemented, he says.
“Our direct relationship with government ended. That is, next we move to self-sufficiency, as a management company. In fact, we are today the most lucrative and profit earning Technopark”, – he added.
Technopark in Kazan is the first Russian IT-Park, its construction was completed in 2009 and the Complex was created within the framework of the state program, implemented by the Ministry of communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation. Technology Park offers its residents everything necessary for IT-development resources: modern technologies, services and equipment, research and resource base. The aggregate turnover of residents IT-Park in Kazan in 2014 amounted to 8.7 billion rubles.
