Stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the free port for eight days will be allowed from 1 January 2016. Other conditions will be introduced gradually.
KHABAROVSK, 22 Oct. An eight-day visa-free entry to the territory of free port of Vladivostok will be allowed from 1 January 2016, according to the government of Primorsky region with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev.
It is noted that on Thursday, Trutnev held a meeting in the first casino integrated entertainment tailor zone Primorye Tigre de Crista.
“From January 1, 2016 will be allowed the presence of foreign citizens on the territory of the free port for eight days. As for the other conditions, they will be phased in gradually. The law also provides for the mode of a free customs zone. This work needs to be debugged. I will charge the Deputy Minister for development of the Far East Alexander Osipov to accelerate this process”, — said Yuri Trutnev.
We will remind, the first resident of free port of Vladivostok became a “Pacific investment company”. She plans to build a five-star Slavyanka hotel with a total investment of about 5 billion rubles.
The Federal law on the Free port of Vladivostok came into force on 12 October 2015. Mode the port will act on the territory of 15 municipalities of the Primorsky territory: Vladivostok, Artem, Bolshoy Kamen, Nakhodka, Partizansk, Ussuriisk, Spassk-Dalny, and Nadezhdinsky, Shkotovsky, Oktyabrsky, Partizansky, Border, Khasan, Khankaisky and olginskiy districts of the territory, including their Maritime area.
The total area of the free zone will make up 28.4 thousand square kilometers, it is home to 1.4 million people.
