MOSCOW, October 21. The interdepartmental Commission of the Ministry of transport took the decision to grant the company group “Aeroflot” for temporary admission on 56 international routes “Transaero”.

“To ensure continuous air communications and to prevent mass failures of passengers who bought tickets for flights of “Transaero”, as well as to ensure jobs for employees of the company “Transaero” has decided on the extradition of the group of companies “Aeroflot” for temporary admission on 56 international routes from 156 “Transaero”, which is about 36% of the total number of”, – stated in the message Department.
A temporary permit will be valid in the period from 26 October 2015 to 30 October 2016 with the possibility of further extension depending on incurred “Aeroflot” costs. At the same time, domestic routes can be redistributed among other carriers without any restrictions, stated in the message of Ministry of transport.
Since the beginning of September 2015, “Aeroflot” took on obligations and expenditures to maintain the operating activities of Transaero airlines carried about 1.8 million passengers. Operations are conducted as private flights on other airlines.
Aeroflot will continue to transport passengers “Transaero” till December 15, will also provide a refund for paid tickets with the departure date after December 15, more than 67 thousand passengers. In addition, taking into account the obtained traffic rights, airlines of Aeroflot group will employ 6 thousand 385 people “Transaero”, – stated in the message of Ministry of transport.
Earlier Wednesday, transportation Minister Maxim Sokolov said that “Aeroflot” will receive 55-56 international routes “Transaero”.
“But this is only a small piece of the remaining pie from more than 140 routes to international destinations possessed by “Transaero”. “Aeroflot” will be passed about 55-56, maybe directions, and the rest will be in free distribution among the other companies operating in the market”, – said the Minister.
“The shareholders once praised the brand (Transaero) to 60 billion rubles, and now all of the companies together with the brand and the jets barely sold for one ruble. As they say, worthless this brand”, – said Sokolov.
Most importantly, according to the Minister, that “the market remains competitive companies, and the industry as a whole will cope with the task, it is required, for passengers”.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aeroflot Kirill Androsov said that the company is ready to consider proposals for entry into the capital of “Transaero” from the new owners of the airline. “Who owns Transaero – family Pleskovich or family Filewich – for us has no value, because our commitment to our passengers remain in force, and we are going to perform”, – said the head of the Board of Directors of “Aeroflot”.

The decision on bankruptcy “Transaero”, the accumulated 250 billion rubles of debt under the operational control of “Aeroflot” was adopted at the governmental meeting with the participation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on October 1. The carrier has closed the sale of tickets. Airline tickets (round-trip) for transportation originating before December 15, and ending after 15 December will be cancelled.

Previously to the publication RBK reported that the group shareholder of S7 airlines Vladislav Filev has acquired not less than 51% of actions “Transaero” Alexander Pleshakov, who is the largest shareholder of the airline. The amount of the transaction, the participants did not disclose, however, noted that it “significantly more than one rouble” and satisfy all parties involved.
According to Fileva that the shareholders “Transaero” has a plan of settlement with creditors of the airline. He also noted that new shareholders will try to avoid bankruptcy of the airline.
