Some members of the faction took the decision not to be elected to the State Duma of the next convocation. Secretary of the General Council EP Sergei Neverov noted that none of the deputies will not remain with the problem of employment.
MOSCOW, 22 Oct. The party “United Russia” will be engaged in employment of state Duma deputies who decide to leave the lower house of Parliament after the conclusion of the sixth convocation, said Thursday the Secretary of the party’s General Council Sergei Neverov.
According to him, he spoke with deputies and some have decided not to be elected to the State Duma of the next convocation.
“This is a purely personal matter. Everyone has their own motives, everyone has their aspirations, but for some there is the question of employment upon completion of the work in the State Duma. Someone is planning to go to particular structure, Executive bodies, someone is going to come back to the regions. We realize that someone needs support and assistance in this matter”, — said Neverov in the meeting of the faction “United Russia” on topic “discussion of the draft provisions on the Russian pre-party voting by definition of candidates for deputies of the state Duma of the 7th convocation”.
He added that none of the deputies will stay with the problem alone. “We’ve always done career opportunities for myself, the decision was taken”, — said Neverov.
Duma elections will be held under a mixed system-18 September 2016. Will be created 225 single-member districts, the other 225 deputies will be selected by the Federal party lists. Today in Russia is registered more than 70 parties.
