The rating will be formed based on two main criteria: efficiency of communicating the subsidy and the level of coverage of crop insurance. The presence of the independent rating will help to stimulate regional agricultural agencies to the development of agricultural insurance throughout the country.
MOSCOW, 22 Oct. The national Union of agricultural insurers (NSA) has launched an independent rating by regions of the Russian Federation with the aim to demonstrate the development of agroinsurance system in Russia, reported the press service of the HCA.
“The subjects of the Russian Federation are compared according to two main parameters: the efficiency of communicating the subsidy and the level of coverage of crop insurance”, — explained in the press service of the President of the NRA of the Roots of Beidou, adding that in addition to the ratings of the regions, it is planned to use independent experts to comment on the current state of the market and the possible prospects of development of agricultural insurance.
The presence of independent rating, according to him, probably will help to stimulate regional agricultural agencies to perform tasks for the development of agricultural insurance throughout Russia.
“From 2016 HCA standardizes the system and activates the development of agricultural insurance in the direction of improving the transparency of the procedures of subsidy and increase the availability of insurance with state support both for farmers and insurers. This project will clearly show the problematic areas that should pay close attention to all stakeholders”, concluded the President of the Union.
