MOSCOW, 23 Oct. The new edition of the code of administrative offences provides for the extension of the list of types of administrative sanctions, it follows from the text of the explanatory note, available.
Earlier the head of Committee Vladimir Pligin said that the working group has completed work on a new version of the code, which is a document almost 1600 pages. Soon it will be submitted for public discussion and only after that the project will contribute to the consideration of the lower house of Parliament.
“The list of administrative penalties is expanded to include the correctional works, deprivation of special permission (license), the administrative ban on visiting public and other mass events, certain public places and on airlines as passengers, liquidation of a legal entity or termination of activity as individual entrepreneur”, — stated in the document.
According to the developers, this extension of the list of types of administrative penalties will increase the accuracy and efficiency of the state’s response to specific wrongful acts.
“The principal provisions of the draft note also the selection of categories of gross administrative offences, administrative offences significant and less significant administrative offences. For each of the mentioned categories of administrative offences establishes peculiarities of proceedings on cases of administrative offenses, the maximum administrative penalty that may be imposed for administrative offences classified under each category” — follows from the explanatory notes.
