The candidature of Oleg Anatolyevich Derbilova was submitted to the Federation Council for appointment as judges of the Supreme judicial body of the Russian Federation, of the Supreme court.

MOSCOW, 24 Oct. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin submitted the candidacy of Oleg Derbilova the Federation Council for appointment as judges of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Kremlin.

According to the Constitution, the President represents the Council of the Federation candidates for appointment as judges of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

“The President has submitted to the Council of Federation the candidature of Oleg Anatolyevich Derbilova for appointment as judges of the Supreme Court”, — stated in the message.

The message was published on the Kremlin website on Friday, October 23.

Supreme court of the Russian Federation is the Supreme judicial body of the Russian Federation. The legal status of the Supreme Court was changed by the President of the Russian Federation, approved on 5 February 2014 the law on amendments to the Constitution. According to this law, the unification of the Supreme and Supreme Arbitration Courts of the Russian Federation into a new body, which is the successor of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, which since its inception do not belong to the system of Federal courts of General jurisdiction.
