The Governor of Primorye called for an increase in the number of flights from Vladivostok to Moscow

VLADIVOSTOK, October 26. The Governor of the Primorsky territory Vladimir Miklushevsky took the initiative to increase the number of flights from Vladivostok to Moscow because of the situation with bankruptcy of airline “Transaero”. This was reported on the official website of the Primorsky territory administration.

“I am confident that this measure will improve competition and thus, lower airfares,” said the head of Primorye. According to the Governor, the termination of sale of tickets by the airline “Transaero” has created a serious problem for departing passengers from Vladivostok to Moscow and back.

“Today is just two flights to Vladivostok from Moscow. With the current passenger traffic, it is not enough. The cost of the tickets from the only carrier on this route, when buying the tickets a few days before departure, increased from three to five times. Flight tickets on a route “Vladivostok – Moscow” at an acceptable cost is 20-25 hours to the docks. The situation is very unpleasant”, – stated in the message.

The airline officially ceased operations. Her work is stopped under the decision of Federal air transport Agency of the Russian Ministry of transport on cancellation of the certificate of the operator 26 of October 2015.
