The supply of products of “GAZ Group” is already underway in Egypt, said the Director of the division “Light commercial vehicles” Paul Sereda. He noted that in Egypt a technique is a success.
NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 27 Oct. “GAZ group” (part of industrial group “Basic element”) is interested in the organization of production of their machines in Egypt, the timing of the project depend on agreements with local partners, said Tuesday the Director of the division “Light commercial vehicles” GAZ Group “” Paul Sereda.
“We already lead the delivery of our equipment in Egypt, our product is like there. This suggests that we can safely go in the market to organize production from the point of view of reducing their costs”, — he told journalists.
Sereda noted that the company considers Egypt “as a point of presence in General in the region.”
According to him, the timing of the project will depend on agreements with local partners. “For SKD production a lot of time don’t… of Course, strongly influenced (at the time) how the party will help us,” said the Director of the division.

GAZ group is Russia’s largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. The company comprises 13 plants in 8 regions of Russia, occupies more than 50% of the light commercial vehicles segment and about 75% of the buses segment. The headquarters of the company is located in Nizhny Novgorod.
