Gazprom in October, continues to increase production and export of gas


“Gazprom” has set an absolute record, having obtained on October 22 1,556 billion cubic meters of gas, said the head of the company Alexey Miller. Only 1 to October 26, 2015, the gas monopoly has extracted a total of 35.1 billion cubic meters of gas.

MOSCOW, 27 Jan. “Gazprom” for the period from 1 to 26 October, increasing production of gas and its export to foreign countries, told journalists the head of “Gazprom” Alexey Miller.

So, from 1 to 26 October 2015, the gas monopoly has extracted a total of 35.1 billion cubic meters of gas against 32.8 billion cubic meters in the same period last year (growth 7%). Gas exports to far abroad countries in this period amounted to 12.3 billion cubic meters against 8.7 billion in the same period last year (growth 41%), reported Miller.

The maximum daily gas production, according to the head of “Gazprom” from 1 to 26 October 2015 amounted to 1.5 billion cubic meters as against 1.4 billion cubic meters for the same period last year.

“Gazprom responded quickly to a sharp increase in consumer demand for gas in the beginning of the heating season. The company in a short time one and a half times has increased its daily production and set an absolute record — October 22 we have extracted 1,556 billion cubic meters of gas. This is the highest rate of daily production in October in the entire history of the company. In terms of year — it’s 568 billion cubic meters. In the face of rising demand of gas in the Unified gas supply system independent producers has kept at the same level,” added Miller.
