The group of “Aeroflot” for 9 months of 2015 increased the passenger traffic by 13.3%


MOSCOW, October 27. For the first nine months of 2015, Aeroflot Group carried 30,1 million passengers, which is 13.3% over the same period last year. Such data contains in the report of the production results of the group.

The airline “Aeroflot” during this same period, carried 19.7 million passengers, 10.3% more than the same period last year.

The passenger turnover of the group for the first nine months of 2015 increased by 7.7% compared to the same period last year, while the passenger turnover of Aeroflot – 10.1%.

The employment rate of passenger seats on the airlines of the group increased by 0.1 p. p. compared to the same period last year and amounted to 79.3%. In Aeroflot this indicator increased by 0.7 percentage points to the level of 80.2%, the report says.

As previously reported, starting from September 2015 the company “Aeroflot” has taken on obligations and expenditures to maintain the operating activities of Transaero airlines carried about 1.8 million passengers. Operations are conducted as private flights on other airlines.

From October 27, “Aeroflot” has increased its staffing, and also opens an additional branch of airline “Russia” in Moscow. These measures are taken for the operational employment of the staff of “Transaero” in the teams of group companies “Aeroflot”.

The group of “Aeroflot” together with JSC “Aeroflot” includes its affiliated airline “Russia” and “Donavia”, “Orenburg airlines”, far Eastern airline “Aurora”, as well as low-budget airline “Victory”. As at 31 August 2015, the fleet of Aeroflot group consisted of 260 aircraft.
