Legislative Assembly of Leningrad region has approved the composition of the government


The new composition of the government and the Legislative Assembly will continue constructive cooperation for the adoption of necessary laws, elaborating a concept of socio-economic development of the region up to 2030, is hoping the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.

St. PETERSBURG, 28 Oct. Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad region approved the new composition of the government, the press service of the regional administration.

“Proposed by the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko, the members of the higher Executive body of state power of the region approved by the Legislature”, — the report says.

Roman Markov became the first Deputy Prime Minister, Oleg Koval, Deputy Chairman of the government on housing and communal services, Mikhail Moskvin — zampredsedatelya of the government on construction. Dmitry Yalov will oversee the area of economy and investments Sergey yakhnyuk — APK, Nikolay Emelyanov — social issues, Andrey Burlakov — the security issues.

Upon completion of the approval procedure Drozdenko has expressed confidence that the new composition of the government and the Legislative Assembly will continue constructive cooperation for the adoption of necessary laws, elaborating a concept of socio-economic development until 2030 and the introduction of the unified social standards.

“I am sure that government members and MPs to find common ground and make decisions to the benefit of the Leningrad region”, — said the Governor.

Earlier at the initiative Drozdenko was restructured authorities, which now involves the separation of government and administration. Now the government comprises the presidency, the first Deputy Chairman and six Vice-presidents. Part of the administration is a post of two Vice-governors and relevant committees.
