VTB will take part in the meeting of creditors with the General Director of “Transaero”

In the meeting, which is scheduled for 30 October, the participation of the shareholder S7 Vladislav Fileva. It is planned to discuss the future of the airline.

MOSCOW, 28 Oct. VTB received the invitation of the new Director General of “Transaero” Valery Zaitsev and plans to participate in the meeting with creditors on Friday, which is also expected shareholder S7 airlines Vladislav Filev, said the representative of the second Bank by assets in the Russian Federation.

“We received an invitation and plan to participate in this meeting,” — said the press service of VTB.

Rabbits previously sent to creditors “Transaero” the letter, which invited them on 30 October to discuss the future of the airline. The meeting is expected to involve Fileva, said in the letter, a copy of which is available. The invitation was presented to all creditors Transaero airlines, including state-owned banks, has informed Agency a source in one of the creditors.

Last week it became known that the shareholder group of airlines S7 (“Siberia”) Filev has signed an agreement to purchase not less than 51% of actions “Transaero”. Co-owner of “Siberia” Natalia Fileva on Monday confirmed that the shareholders retain the S7 plans to buy “Transaero”.

On Tuesday, a source close to the deal told the Agency that the shareholders expect the S7 to the end of the week to obtain the property of the first 19% of actions “Transaero” will be served followed by a petition to Federal Antimonopoly service approval of the deal. Also on Tuesday it became known that the Board of Directors of “Transaero” dismissed General Director Dmitry Saprykin, representing Aeroflot, and was appointed to the post of Deputy flight Director of “Aeroflot Russian airlines” Valery Zaitsev.
