Moscow. October 30. The airline “Transaero” in the coming year will not resume flying, said the head of the Bank “international financial club” (IFC) Oksana Lyphard. IFC is one of creditors of “Transaero”.
“The company in the coming year will not resume flying for the simple reason that, firstly, its network and passed to the operator’s certificate revoked. Route network referred to the year in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of transport,” said Lyphard at the meeting of creditors “Transaero”.
She also added that thus the club of creditors have a year to figure out how to restructure the debt of the company and in what direction to move.
Air operator certificate of airline “Transaero” was cancelled on October 26, “in connection with deterioration of key performance indicators and financial-economic state activities that affect the safety and rights of consumers”.
Prior to the announcement of the decision of the Russian aviation authorities about the review of the air operator certificate of the co-owners of airline “Siberia” (working under the brand S7) said it has agreed to acquire not less than 51% of actions “Transaero”.
