ST. PETERSBURG, November 2. In the Kremlin concluded that while the fight against corruption is conducted more effectively at the Federal level, but next year it should be established in the regions.

“At the Federal level, the efficiency for detection of conflict of interest is four times higher than at the regional level”, – told reporters the head of Department of the President of the Russian Federation on issues of combating corruption Oleg Bad.
According to him, “three-quarters of the layoffs with the phrase “in connection with loss of trust” refers to persons who worked in the Federal structures, and only a quarter – in the regional”. “We expect that the statistics next year will be different,” said Poor.
The head of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Ivanov agreed with the fact that “corruption at the regional level, there is much worse than Federal.” In his opinion this is due to the fact that the verification of declarations of civil servants is carried out for many years, “but the officials themselves are accustomed to, that they’re under the microscope”.
“This year, we first created anti-corruption units in every region of the Russian Federation and ordered them to be headed by the Governor. These units are just starting to work,” explained Ivanov. He specified that “this is not a reproach to regionals”.-
