MOSCOW, 3 Nov. The price oil “baskets” the OPEC (OPEC Reference Basket of crudes) on Monday, November 2, increased by 0.35 per dollar, or 0.8%, to 44,01 USD per barrel with 43,66 dollar in the previous trading day, the message of the organization.

The average price of a barrel in November amounted 44,01 dollar, in 2015 — 51,95 USD.

In 2014, the average price oil “baskets” was 96,29 dollar against 105,87 dollars per barrel in 2013. The cost of the “basket” dropped below $ 100 in September 2014 and totalled 95,98 dollars per barrel.

In 2012, the average price of a “basket” was 109,45 dollars per barrel, in 2011 — 107,46 dollar, in 2010 — 77,45 dollar. The record price of basket was set July 3, 2008 — 140,73 dollars per barrel.

The price “baskets” the OPEC is defined as the average of the prices of the following grades of oil extracted by the countries of cartel: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
