The delegation of the Russian Federation participates in the Havana International fair, which started on Monday, which the Russian-Cuban business forum. Working groups of the Ministry of industry and trade and the Ministry of economic development, which together with the Cuban partners there is a discussion of the priority and promising projects.
“A roadmap (Russian-Cuban) industrial projects covers 46 projects. Those that are in development, but some of them are already “went”, said Kalamanov.
“We see the Cuban market as one of priority, including for the countries of Latin America,” he continued.
Kalamanov reminded that this year Russia and Cuba signed two major recent agreements on the construction of four power units at TPP “MAXIMO Gomez and East Havana”, as well as the modernization of metallurgical plant “Antillana de Acero”.
Now the Russian and Cuban representatives, according to Kalamanov, to discuss the projects in the field of transport engineering, supply of railway cars and locomotives, motor vehicles KAMAZ. In addition, it is about creating a relevant service centers, including helicopters. Also discussed the prospects of joint projects in the pharmaceutical field, including technology transfer in the Russian Federation, and in the chemical industry.
The Havana fair is one of the largest in the region and the largest on the island in 15 years — opened on Monday. A special place at the fair is the Russian part. The delegation of the Russian Federation — one of the most numerous, it includes over 50 participants, including representatives of Russian relevant agencies (Ministry of economic development, Ministry of industry and trade) and large companies (“EXIAR”, “INTER RAO — Export”, “Gazprombank”, “Group GAZ”, “KAMAZ”, “EvrazHolding” and others). The fair also presents companies with activities in Cuba, in particular, “Zarubezhneft”.
