MOSCOW, 6 Nov. The message on all flights between Russia and Egypt is suspended from 20.00 GMT Friday, all the airlines that travelled, informed, told reporters transport Minister Maxim Sokolov on the results of the meeting of the operational headquarters for the suspension of air links.
“Today, with 20 hours Moscow time suspended flights on scheduled, Charter and transit flights between the Russian Federation and the Arab Republic of Egypt. Telegrams are given to all aviation companies, nine of them, who carried out these flights, and all airports of the Russian Federation who took these boards — more than 20 of them,” said Sokolov.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin agreed with the recommendations to suspend flights to Egypt to ascertain the causes of the collapse of the A321. The President also instructed to provide assistance to Russian citizens in return from Egypt.
