Moscow. On 5 November. The government will review the situation in connection with the withdrawal of the International aviation Committee type certificate to a modification of the Boeing 737, said the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
In the course of communication with journalists on Thursday, Peskov replied to the question, are there any concerns that the decision of the IAC will cause a crisis of air transport in the country, as many airlines are using these aircraft types.
“Of course, will require a very rapid and deep analysis of the situation in our domestic aviation – and certainly relevant agencies, the Ministry of transport, the government required the analysis done, there is no doubt can’t be”, – said Peskov, noting that the Kremlin informed decisions MAC, but “from the media”.
“We in the Kremlin are watching these decisions. It is rather a question of the relevant agencies, i.e. the government,” Peskov said.
As previously reported, the MAC withdrew the type certificate of all modifications of the Boeing 737 (Classic and NG), operated by the Russian carriers. The source said that the decision of the Committee may result in a momentary stop of the entire Russian fleet of Boeing 737.
