“Transneft” has chosen the contractor for the construction project “South”


We are talking about the section of oil pipeline “Volgograd – Tikhoretsk”, which is the second phase of the project “the South” and needs to be built in 2017. The competition Transneft for the construction was won by the company “Krasnodar the Second Assembly management specialized”.

MOSCOW, 6 Nov. The competition Transneft on the construction of a section of oil pipeline “Volgograd — Tikhoretsk” (part of the project “South”) have won the company “Krasnodar the Second Assembly management specialized” (CJSC “kmus-2”), follows from materials “Transneft”.

Procurement includes construction of the linear part of the pipeline with a length of 87 kilometers (408-495 kilometer), as well as two underwater crossing (the river and Its Ternovka). “Kmus-2” have offered their services at 840 million rubles. The customer of works is a subsidiary of the company “Transneft” “Transneft-Privolga”. Deadlines work from 12 November to 25 August 2017.

Construction of main oil pipeline (ISPE) “Volgograd — Tikhoretsk” is the second phase of the project “South”. The aim of the project “South” is to ensure the supply of diesel fuel pipelines in the area “Voskresenka — Samara — Volgograd — Tikhoretsk — Novorossiysk” on the Russian domestic market and for export to Europe through the port of Novorossiysk. According to the plans of “Transneft”, the entire project will require the construction of about 1,35 thousand kilometers and 14 pumping stations. It is assumed that the design capacity “of the South” by 2020 will amount to 11 million tons per year.

The first phase of the project involves the conversion of the pipeline “Tikhoretsk — Novorossiysk” under the transportation of diesel fuel in the amount of 6 million tons per year. Further it is planned to build a total of 586 kilometers of the linear part of the pipeline on a site “Volgograd — Tikhoretsk — Novorossiysk” with the connection of the Volgograd refinery LUKOIL. The completion phase is planned in 2017.

By 2020 it is planned to complete the construction of oil pipeline in the area “Voskresenka — Samara — Volgograd”. The resource base for the pipeline will be Samara group of refineries, Volgograd, Omsk, Bashkir refineries, the possibility of connection Novoshakhtinsk refinery.
