The USDA reduced the forecast of grain production in Russia


The U.S. government has cut its forecast for production of grain in Russia in 2015-2016 from 70 million tonnes to 60.5 million tonnes, according to the Ministry of agriculture of the USA.

WASHINGTON, 10 Nov. Dmitry Zlatarev. U.S. authorities on Tuesday slightly lowered its forecast for the volume of grain production in Russia in 2015-2016.

According to the November forecast of the U.S. Department of agriculture, this indicator will amount to 60.5 million tons. A month earlier it was expected that it will be 0.5 million tons higher.

Overall worldwide production volumes, as suggested in the USDA, several will grow from 732 million 786 thousand tonnes to 732 million 984 thousand tons.

The forecast for grain exports from Russia in comparison with the October forecast remained unchanged at 23.5 million tons.
