SAMARA, 11 Nov. The acting head of the city administration Alexey Gaev elected the city Manager of the city of Ulyanovsk, according to the city Parliament.
“In an open vote of the deputies by majority of 35 votes, was supported by the acting head of the city administration Alexey Gaev”, — stated in the message.
Last week, the special tender Committee selected two candidates for the position of head of administration of Ulyanovsk city. They became Executive Director of the company “Konsaltingove” Beneman and Gaev.
The contest was held in the form of an interview. Applicants for the position of city Manager presented to the Commission its own programmes and projects of the basic directions socially-economic development of Ulyanovsk.
According to the municipality, the head of Ulyanovsk Sergey Panchin will sign a contract with Gaelim on November 16.
Alexey Gaev was born in 1973. Previously he was acting head of administration of Ulyanovsk, and also held senior positions in a management company and a construction company. The positions of city Manager and the mayor of Ulyanovsk separated. The position of city Manager became vacant after this post left Sergei Panin. Former head of the administration ran for Council and was elected mayor of the city. Previously the head of Ulyanovsk Marina Bespalova was.
