Moscow. November 12. The Swedish armed forces has removed an underwater object discovered near one of the threads of the gas pipeline “Nord stream” through the Baltic sea from Russia to Germany, the report said operator – Nord Stream Pipeline.
As a result, the pipeline is stopped on 6 November after the discovery of the object, resumed its work.
Earlier it was reported that an object (piece of munitions) was discovered during a routine RAID assessment of the gas pipeline on November 6th. For security purposes one of the pipelines was stopped. The facility is located in the Swedish economic zone is approximately 120 km from the island of Gotland.
