The index of physical volume of gross domestic product in the third quarter of 2015 compared to the corresponding period of 2014, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to 95,9%, said in the Rosstat.
MOSCOW, 12 Nov. The decline in GDP, according to preliminary estimates, in the third quarter of 2015 slowed to 4.1% yoy from 4.6% in the second quarter, according to data of Rosstat.
“Rosstat has carried out a preliminary assessment based on available information, the dynamics of gross domestic product in the third quarter of 2015. The index of physical volume of gross domestic product in the third quarter of 2015 compared to the corresponding period of 2014, according to preliminary estimates, 95.9%”, — stated in the message of Rosstat.
Thus, the decline in GDP in the third quarter was lower than the preliminary forecast of Ministry of economic development, which constituted 4.3 percent. Meanwhile, in the fourth quarter, the Ministry expects GDP to drop to 3.8-3.9 percent forecast for 2015 — a decline of 3.9%.
