Moscow. November 12. Vice-Premier, the presidential envoy to FEFD Yuri Trutnev, who supervises ALROSA, knows nothing about the possible purchase of the company of gold miner Polyus Gold.
“Almost immediately after it was written (about the deal between these companies), I was the President of ALROSA Andrey Zharkov. I told him this same question was asked: “What is this?”. He says it’s frankly a contrived provocation, for the first time about it hears,” said Trutnev reporters on Thursday.
Previously, the newspaper “Kommersant” with reference to sources in the investment company reported that Polyus Gold after the repurchase of the Kerimov family can be sold to ALROSA.
A source in banking circles said earlier that the ultimate objective of consolidation of Polyus Gold may indeed be the future sale of the company, however the buyer was not found and the transaction could happen as soon as next year.
