Volume of monetary base in Russia in broad definition as of 1 November amounted to 9,775 trillion rubles, which is by 35.5 billion rubles less than the previous month.
MOSCOW, 13 Nov. Volume of monetary base in Russia in broad definition as of 1 November amounted to 9,775 trillion rubles compared to 9.81 trillion rubles on October 1, according to the Bank of Russia.
Thus, in October the index decreased by 35.5 billion, or 0.4%.
The main part of the monetary base in the broad definition constitute cash in circulation with regard to balances in tills of credit institutions (7,732 trillion rubles on 1 November). In addition, it includes the correspondent accounts of credit organizations with the Bank of Russia (1,421 trillion rubles), required reserves (369,3 billion), deposits of credit institutions with the Bank of Russia (RUB 252.8 billion).
