On the agenda of the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia’s king Salman has issued a Syrian settlement on the issue of bilateral relations, said the Kremlin.
ANTALYA/MOSCOW, 16 Nov. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Saudi king Salman held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Antalya.
The meeting of leaders was held behind closed doors.
As reported on the Kremlin website, this is the first meeting of Putin with the Saudi monarch.
“The agenda for negotiations — Syrian settlement, bilateral relations of the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia,” — said the Kremlin.
Before that, the Russian head of state met with the Prime Ministers of Britain and Italy. In addition, Putin on Monday took part in the second plenary session of the G20 summit, which was held behind closed doors.
