The Convention provides for measures to ensure that workers working part-time, the same rights and guarantees as of workers employed full time, according to the certificate to the document.
MOSCOW, 16 Nov. The bill on ratification of the Convention on part-time work introduced in the state Duma, the corresponding decree was published on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation on Monday.
“The Convention provides for measures to ensure that workers working part-time, the same rights and guarantees as of workers employed full time, wage (in proportion to time worked), termination of employment relationships, annual paid leaves or paid holidays and social security”, — stated in the help document.
It is clarified that the provisions of the Convention correspond to the Russian legislation on regulation of relations of the social partners and are already being applied in labor relations.
The Convention adopted at the 81st session of the General conference of the International labour organization in Geneva on 24 June 1994 and entered into force on 28 February 1998. The project of ratification, entered the foreign Ministry and the Ministry of labour of Russia, approved at the RF Government meeting on 5 November.
