Gruzdev: the budget of the Tula region for 4 years has more than doubled


The regional budget of the Tula region, which in 2010 amounted to 23.2 billion rubles, according to the results 2014 amounted to 49.9 billion rubles, said the Governor of the Tula region Vladimir Gruzdev at the plenary session of the forum “Smart city of the future”, held Wednesday in MIA “Russia today”.

“We managed to increase the regional budget of 23.2 billion rubles in 2010 to 49.9 billion rubles by the end of 2014. The consolidated budget — including the budget of municipalities — for the same four years increased by 86%. The growth of the Russian budget amounted to 42%. That is, the growth in the budget of our region exceeded the national more than twice”, — said the Governor.

According to him, such results managed to achieve thanks to the initiative and diligence Tulyakov. “We managed to do it by changing moods of the population. All of my work of the Governor was intended to transfer the activities of official service on format of cooperation with businesses, entrepreneurs and residents,” he added.

According to Gruzdeva, it is especially important to arrive at a balanced allocation of human, investment, infrastructure, energy and transportation resources in the region. First of all it is necessary to create new growth points in the region, reduce economic risk and achieve economic growth. All this directly affects the quality of life of the population.

International forum “Smart city of the future” organized by MIA “Russia today”. The forum participants discuss models of urban growth, issues of transformation of urban areas, interaction between government, business and citizens in city governance, energy efficiency in housing and communal services, transportation systems, barrier-free urban environment, development of social and environmental responsibility. A key objective of the event was the demonstration of the status and assessment of prospects of innovative development of cities.
