Moscow. November 19. The production of passenger cars in Russia in October decreased by 11.4% compared with the same month in 2014, to 114 thousand units, according to the materials of Rosstat. While October remained unchanged compared with September.
Manufacture of lorries in Russia in October fell by 2% compared with the same month in 2014, to 13.3 thousand units, increased by 4.8% compared with August of the current year.
Production of buses decreased by 28.9% compared with the same month in 2014, to 3.2 thousand units and 4.8% compared with September of this year.
As reported, the production of passenger cars in Russia in January-October fell by 23.2% compared with the same period last year to 1.1 million units in 10 months in Russia was produced 103 thousand trucks, which is 18,3% lower than a year earlier. Production of buses during this period decreased by 16.6%, to 29 thousand units.
The main producers of passenger cars in Russia are AVTOVAZ, Sollers group, “Renault Russia” (the Renault plant in Moscow), truck KAMAZ and the GAZ group.
